Our Newmen Advanced carbon handlebars for (e-)mountain bikes have a stronger upsweep than usual. This allows bikers to achieve a better wrist position with the Advanced (SL) handlebars for less fatigue without the handlebars having excessive backsweep. Unlike MTB handlebars with more backsweep (12° or more), our new handlebar geometry allows aggressive downhill positions without wrist misalignment. The increased comfort in more neutral positions is nevertheless retained.

We only offer our mountain bike handlebars with a 31.8 mm diameter because we believe that a 35 mm diameter significantly reduces the comfort of an MTB handlebar and at the same time adds weight or reduces durability during impacts. The lightweight, stable carbon handlebars are available in two versions: From the lighter Advanced SL version from 180 grams at 760mm width for XC and trail bikes, to the Advanced version with 800mm width and 40mm rise for enduro and downhill use. There are also no restrictions on the maximum system weight for all Newmen Advanced carbon handlebars.
