With the STREEM G.48, we are consistently expanding our gravel line-up with a true all-rounder.
Featuring modern dimensions and low weight, the G.48 offers every ambitious gravel rider the perfect wheelset for their needs. Whether it's after-work rides, bikepacking adventures or the next gravel race.
The G.48 features a 27 mm internal width and a 45 mm external width – the sweet spot for current tyre widths and dimensions, already proven on our G.62.
The difference: The G.48 comes with a lower rim depth of 48 mm. This means less weight, a more understated look and outstanding riding characteristics.

The STREEM G.48 is ready for anything and the perfect wheelset for anyone looking for versatility.
With its 27 mm internal width, it is perfectly matched to modern gravel tyres.
The rim provides the tyre with sufficient lateral support, allowing the
sidewalls to work comfortably even at low tyre pressures.
At the same time, it isn't too wide, allowing the airflow to pass over the tyre and reattach smoothly at the rim edge.
The G.48's bulbous rim profile also offers two key benefits: comfort and extremely low sensitivity to crosswinds.
The rim shape allows the wheelset to absorb impacts efficiently. Especially on fast gravel sections, it noticeably dampens small, high-frequency impacts – less fatigue,
more comfort, more riding enjoyment.
At the same time, crosswinds have very little surface area to catch, making the G.48 extremely stable in windy conditions. Instead of pushing sideways against a steep rim wall, the wind flows smoothly over the rounded G.48 profile.
Like all NEWMEN road and gravel wheelsets, the G.48 features a hooked rim design.
This ensures maximum safety against tyre blow-offs, even at high tyre pressures.
The STREEM G.48 combines a modern design with understated looks. Its subtle yet distinctive appearance makes it a perfect match for any bike. For those who prefer a more striking look, the G.48 CS is also available with silver decals.

Whether it's for road or gravel.
Wheelsets with steel spokes are built in our in-house wheel-building facility in the Czech Republic.
All carbon-spoke wheelsets, without exception, are built right here in the Allgäu region of Germany. Our wheel-building team in Kempten specialises in the unique requirements of carbon-spoke wheel construction and builds every wheelset with the highest level of precision.
